The Compagnie ZOLOBE is an association formed in 2002. Today, the troupe comprises a dozen Malagasy actors who are also professional and amateur musicians, dancers, clowns and puppeteers. Its artistic aim is to pass on the traditional oral culture (stories, songs, dances, etc.) of northern Madagascar, and to raise awareness among a wide audience through original shows involving different forms of performing arts. The company is currently presenting two shows: a strolling show featuring two giant puppets and their musicians, and the "Sakasaka" clown show on the theme of water, accompanied by original creations by its musicians. 5 artists are on stage for this show.
